The Zombie Feed: Submission Call

Posted by readreviewer under Submission Calls

Here’s a quick little tidbit for those of you looking for publishing opportunities.  Apex Book Company, (part of Apex Publications) has sent out an open call for 80,000 words of zombie goodness for an anthology.

They’re asking that stories be no more than 7,500 words, and they will pay you 1 cent per word after publication.   Of course your contribution must be original and must contain at least one zombie.

Submissions close when they’ve reached 80,000 words.   For more information regarding rules and submission, go to the Zombie Feed.

Call for Submissions

Posted by readreviewer under Submission Calls

Liquid Silver has recently posted in their aspiring authors forum, as well as on twitter, that they are currently accepting submissions for both Historical Romance and Paranormal Romances; two of my favorite genres!   I am left, once again, wondering if I could finish a manuscript by the deadline, cuz my newest project idea would really fit the bill.

The deadline for submissions is September 30th and the manuscript needs to be 20k-80k.  Any heat level is accepted, all they ask is that the novel has a happy ending.   Full manuscripts, author biography and one page novel synopsis should be emailed to submissions@liquidsilverbooks.com with CALL FOR SUBMISSION Paranormal Romances or Historical Romances 2010 in the subject line.

For the original call for submissions postings, go here:  Paranormal Romance and Historical Romance.
